• Although much of this site's content is fee-based, its free-search option is one of the best ways to determine what sorts of reports/studies are available online

MouseTracks: The List of Marketing Lists

• Provides subscription information; current year's articles available only in print subscription
• This is very useful for "nuts-and-bolts" information on marketing issues and trends, especially for hard-to-find topics

Recent Changes in U.S. Family Finances: Evidence from the 1998 and 2001 Survey of Consumer Finances
• Published in "Articles from the Federal Reserve Bulletin — January 2003"; prepared by Ana M. Aizcorbe, Arthur Kennickell, Kevin B. Moore, with the assistance of Ryan B. Bledsoe, Gerhard Fries, and L. Brooke Wells
• This is an in-depth analysis of family economic status compiled by researchers from the Federal Reserve Board's Division of Research and Statistics, utilizing data from the 1998 and 2001 "Survey of Consumer Finances"
• Taking into account family income (net worth, assets/liabilities) during that time period and drawing upon 14 statistical tables, the study concludes that family income exhibited overall growth during the period, but not equally among all socio-economic groups
• Includes an " Appendix of Survey Procedures and Statistical Measures"
• In keeping with the Federal Reserve Board's standards of research, this study provides expert analysis of recent trends in consumer demographics and related issues
