Search for people based on nationality, ethnicity, occupation, gender, and birth or death year.


Literature Resource Center

Comprehensive coverage of American and international authors from all time periods writing in such genres as drama, history, journalism, novels, poetry, and short stories. Includes authors' biographies, literary criticism, overviews of literary works and summaries of plots, plus links to authoritative Internet websites on an author's life and works. Special features: Explore the "Literary-Historical Timeline" to learn about the influential movements and historical events which occurred during an author's lifespan.
