as Paperback Riders, offers Johnson & Wales students, faculty, and staff a unique
opportunity unlike any other on campus. Members of this group work together to select
a variety of books for discussion. Once selected, members discuss the chosen books
through both e-mail as well as in-person discussions which take place at specific
times during the year. The purpose of the group is to facilitate the reading and
discussion of interesting and often award-winning books for the simple pleasure
of doing so. Discussions will include all manner of controversial and exciting facets
of the text. Membership is voluntary, open to everyone within the Johnson & Wales
academic community, and not associated with any specific class or major. If you
are interested in joining please stop by the library reference desk at any time. |
