Welcome to Johnson & Wales University's North Miami Campus Library. In addition to our book collection we provide students, faculty, and staff with access to approximately 200 current periodical subscriptions, numerous online databases, nearly 2000 videos/DVDs, and a unique menu collection.  Our mission is to maintain, develop, and provide access to resources that best support the learning, research and diverse informational needs of the Johnson & Wales University community.

As a member of the Higher Education Library Information Network (HELIN) and the Southeast Florida Library Information Network (SEFLIN), the students, faculty, and staff have remote access to the Library catalog and a broad range of online, scholarly resources. The Johnson & Wales reference staff provides links to subject-specific web resources.

Library Blog

The North Miami Campus Library has a blog with an embedded instant messaging feature which provides a forum for interactive communication and increased access to resources, tutorials, and information.  These are viable and valuable additions to library service that meet student, staff and faculty needs in a participative environment and engage the patrons in a professional, academic online dialogue.  The blog is interactive, flexible, collaborative, searchable, as well as offering an archive.  It supports a green initiative by reducing the Library’s dependence upon paper by supplanting the traditional library newsletter.  By expanding our presence online, we are offering the students, staff, and faculty a dynamic virtual library experience.
