The second floor of the Library is a great space for individual or group study. There are individual study carrels, dozens of large work tables, group study rooms, and lots of comfortable seating areas. Laptops users have access to the wireless network and can find plenty of outlets to keep their computers charged.
This is also a great teaching space for instructors. Equipped with a dry erase board, podium, and numerous tables and chairs, faculty can bring their class in to hear a presentation or to work in small groups. This space is available on a first-come first-serve basis.
The second floor is also the home of the Writing Center. The Center assists students who have demonstrated a need to strengthen their writing skills as well as those who have a desire to build advanced skills in academic, technical, and/or creative writing. For more information on the Writing Center, contact Lance Eagleman at 303-256-9416.
