The Charlotte campus library supports the unique career-oriented focus of our widely recognized brand of education by acquiring, organizing, and providing access to diverse resources that enhance the University's degree programs, general studies course offerings, and the learning process itself. The library's staff helps to facilitate the development of students' research and information literacy skills, both specific to various resources as well as those more conceptual in nature, through interaction at the reference desk, library instruction, and information literacy initiatives which seek to integrate critical components of information literacy within the curriculums of our various programs. Information literacy at Johnson & Wales University Charlotte is incorporated into the curriculum through a standardized system of instruction modules, customized research sessions, and consultations with faculty. Faculty must use this form to request information literacy sessions. Please contact Christine Tran, the Instruction/Reference Librarian at 980-598-1604 if there are any questions. News and Events Our newsletter has served as the voice of the library, its mission was to enhance awareness among faculty, staff, and students about all aspects of library services. The newsletter was published monthly and available in pdf on this site. After careful review we have decided to recreate the newsletter as a blog. Using a blog will make library news immediate and enable a dialog between the library and its users.
